<p>Got out the ST80 and the white light filter to look at the Sun. One small sunspot, not much look at. Switched to the PST and wow, there was a big flare at about the 1 o'clock position. It was shooting out from the sun and then arcing back in three different directions. It continued to do so for about the 20 minutes I watched, then clouds moved in.
