Tonight I drove out to Skyview, just got a 32mm Televue Plossl and I want to check it out.
I arrived just at sunset, I setup the C8 next to the observatory. While I was setting up a young girl arrived and asked me if this is where the lab is going to be held. I thought great there's going to be a lot students out here tonight. Sure enough about 20 arrived for a TTU astronomy lab, it was a naked eye lab involving drawing selected constellations, around 9:00pm a second group started arriving for their lab. Needless to say none of them understood star party etiquette. I left just after 9:00pm but not before I tried out the 32mm with the C8. I was happy with it, I could get all of the double cluster in the eyepiece. I hope to get out again soon and try it out with the ST120.
