Included in this exhibit are two oils, 'Wild Ginger at Peace in the Great Void' and 'The Double Helix'. They represent my quest to observe the balance of creation. My intuitive studies of DNA are supported by a 2009 grant from the Ingrid Nickelsen Trust. These paintings combine meditative insights, a passion for wildflowers, and a life-long love of the Mathematical language. (See more about the exhibit at inkpeople.org)

CURRENT PROJECT, 2009:
A exploration in oils from meditations on the Double Helix,
as DNA prefers to be called.

TRAVELING EXHIBIT:
'When My Father Returned from War'
'When My Father Returned from War' is a series from a year-long project, based on childhood memories of living with a returning combat veteran. From the sensitivity of a child, the artwork innocently depicts events in a family as the father attempts to return to a normal life after his experience as a combat infantryman and prisoner-of-war. The series compassionately honors all who have been touched by war. Thank you to the many visitors who have visited this project,
your support has been very appreciated!

One of four studios chosen for the 'Spiritual Dimensions of Art Tour'. Anne Pierson, who is drawn to art that connects one to the divine, facilitated the tour explaining, "For many artists, creating art is a spiritual process and a way to reach deeper levels of connection. For viewers, art can evoke spiritual feelings of reverence, joy and peacefulness."
