I'm a Mainframe / Unix programmer by day and a beekeeper all the other times.

I'm a 3rd generation beekeeper with approximately 60 hives.  During the Spring I work for a migratory beekeeper for bee hives and queens.  These hives and bees are the primary hives and queens I have for sale.  Working for this beekeeper is where I learned how to split bees and raise good quality queens.
