In the Name of God amen. I Epaphroditus Jones of Hertsford County in the province of North Carolina Being weak in Body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory, Blessed by almighty God for the same, Do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first I Give and Bequeth unto my Beloved wife Rebecca Jones During her lifetime my whole Estate Lands & Liveing moveable and Imovable within Doors and without Doors Every Indivisable thing as I o__s to her whole sole use and Benefit and to no other and after her Deseas, I Give & Devise unto my Grandaughter Millle Jones That plantation as Isaac fryer Lives on, and one hundred acres of Land Belonging to the same to her and her heirs for ever also one feather Bed and all the furniture belonging to the same also one Dozen of puter plates five puter Dishes and two Iron pots, also what money is left after my wifes Desease shall Be unto and for my Grandaughter Mille Jones. Item I give and Bequeth unto my Grand aughter Arkade Jones, one feather Bed and furniture (all that belongeth to the same), two puter Dishes and one Iron pot to her and her heirs for Ever.
Item. I Give and Bequeth unto my Daughter mary Fryer one feather Bed and Furniture two Iron Pots one horse to her and her heirs for Ever and also one Cow.     Item. I give and Bequeth unto my Grandaughter Mille Jones one Cow and two heifers to her and her heirs for Ever -- and I Do hereby Demand, make and appoint Edward Aurnal my sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament hereby Revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third Day of July 1768.

Epaphraditus Jones's will was exhibited in open court by Edward Arnod his Exor and proved by the oath of John Harrol a Subscribing Witness Ordered that it be Recorded and that the Secretary have Notice.
