Deserea at the ASA Nationals 2001 in Marietta GA
Deserea now plays shortstop for the Texas Storm (18 and Under Gold Team)team from Houston. Deserea has also hit several homeruns with this team. They have played all over including: Kansas City Mo. Tulsa OK, Boulder CO, Los Angeles CA, Miami FL, Houston TX, Dallas TX, Marietta GA, Killeen TX and many other cities.
The Tomball Hawks (18 and Under Gold Team) tied for 17th place in the ASA Nationals in 2001 and 2002. They disbanded last year when most of their girls left for college.
Benton High School Lady Tigers Softball
Benton Finished 2nd in District in 2001. Deserea pitched the Tigers to District Championships in 2002 and 2003. She also ended the school season with 9 out of the park homeruns with three of them in one game.
Deserea quit playing tennis at the end of 2000 and is just enjoying playing softball now.
Deserea has a room full of trophies from tennis, T-Ball and fastpitch softball.
Deserea, born in 1986, loves to play tennis and fast-pitch softball.
Her softball team won the North Louisiana All Stars in 1996.
On 6 July 98, while playing for the North
Bossier Allstars vs South Bossier...Deserea hit her first grandslam over the left
field fence.
Deserea hit three out of the park in 1999.
Deserea has been on the A, or A-B Honor Roll since she
started school. She won the Presidents Award twice in two years.
