LINDSAY BLOOM, is known to millions as the witty, resourceful, and vivacious 'VELDA', beautiful brunette secretary to super sleuth 'Mike Hammer' (CBS-TV Series). Having concluded 5 successful years of episodes and TV movies for "THE NEW MIKE HAMMER" (as the stunning brunette), she is now the witty, resourceful, vivacious, and beautiful blonde Lindsay Bloom again. And she is fielding new career opportunities to challenge her skills as a seasoned TV and Movie actress.

A native of Nebraska, Ms. Bloom's first 'Hollywood break' came when she landed a role on "THE DEAN MARTIN SHOW", where she shared the comedy spot-light with Dean and his guests while also singing and dancing as one of the "DING-A-LING SISTERS".
She has since garnered an impressive list of feature film and television credits. She has starred in three of her eight feature films: as a snobbish sorority president in "H.O.T.S.", a hard-drinking, truck-driving hell-raiser in "SIX PACK ANNIE", and as a screen idol Jean Harlow in "HUGHES AND HARLOW, ANGELS IN HELL".
Her recurring role as 'Bonnie', the girlfriend of Ray Krebbs, on the ever-popular "DALLAS", added a new, exciting dimension to life at the Ewing Ranch. She landed recurring roles in both "VEGAS" and "THE DUKES OF HAZZARD". Lindsay has also succeeded in becoming a familiar face to television audiences through a lengthy list of guest appearance's including: "LAVERNE AND SHIRLEY", "SANFORD", "STARSKY AND HUTCH", "STRIKE FORCE", AND "TRAPPER JOHN". She starred as hospital volunteer Pam Singleton in "THE LONE STAR BAR AND GRILL", a nine-hour miniseries which was the top rated Drama of the year for Showtime. She starred with David Hasselhoff in the NBC M.O.W. "BRIDGE ACROSS TIME", as well as Guest-Starring on "HOLLYWOOD BEAT" and the "THE NEW LOVE AMERICAN STYLE". She is also recognized within the industry as a champion celebrity player of television game shows, including "SUPER PASSWORD", where she once solved every puzzle for an entire week of shows.
The discipline and stamina with which Lindsay approaches her profession reflect seventeen years of dance training. Lindsay began dancing at the age of three and revealed a natural flair for athletics. Recent television special allowed her to call upon talents acquired in her youth: In the entertaining "CIRCUS OF THE STARS", she performed a first by walking the High-wire 20 feet above the ground, while wearing ice skates.
Today, the former Miss USA is quite content if she is able to find the time to play tennis and practice Karate.

Happily married for 27 years to actor-singer-songwriter Mayf Nutter ("Knots Landing" - Country Music Hall Of Fame Honoree), Lindsay has enjoyed being a ‘stay-at-home’ mom with her three energetic children; Chase, Sage, and Haylee.

And who knows, you just might see her return to the screen if the right Movie or TV role came along that would expand her artistic horizons.

She's currently enjoying reviving her first love of dancing and singing with her Ding-A-Ling Sister partner, Michelle Dellafave, from the Dean Martin Show. They have been reunited to perform again after 35 years as a new duo, "Blue Eyed Soul".
