Subject: Re: It Arrived
Chuck and Gail,
It's not the distressing that is wrong. I've been able to do nothing but just
stare at it since I got it this morning with knots in my stomach. If you look at
the list I sent, there's nothing in there about the distressing, I was happy
with that part.
Chuck, I will take option 2. I talked with Gibson to see if they could fix the
binding on the headstock and back and they didn't think they could correct the
channels and get the correct binding on there now after it had already been
routed. This was my lifer, a mandolin that I was planning on keeping for ever.
I have $5925.00 in the mandolin, not including shipping, from Buffalo Brothers,
and what I've paid you and Gail, 1760.00 plus shipping to this point.
I'll provide you with the original receipt of what I paid Buffalo Brothers when
I bought it there and all of the original warranty papers.
I'll overnight it to you first thing Monday.
Regards,
Jim Watts
