2104 after Earth, was created with a science fiction idea of what the world may look like after a cosmic event. The artist constructed the image using piles of river sand to create the mountains. The water’s surface of the Ohio River is the center of the image. The distant moon is created by using a small cinder rock found alongside the river. The partial submerged statue is to give the viewer the impression of a world lost in the future. |
