ARCDC Opens with New Programs and New Faces August 2009 After a busy summer of packing and unpacking, the new Academic Recovery and Career Discovery Center has opened for business. Along with the faculty, staff, and alternative programs that have been relocated from Oak Terrace/J.B. Harville Alternative School, the new center will also incorporate new initiatives such as an accelerated remediation program for overage students in grades four through eight and the transition remediation program for students in the eighth grade who have passed a portion of the LEAP test. These students will move to their respective high schools upon successful completion of this program. The faculty and staff are looking forward to great year.
