ARCDC Buffalo Soldiers Win Library's Drama Contest February 2012 Ms. Shirley Culbert's fourth grade class has been named the winner of the All the World's a Stage drama competition hosted by the ARCDC Library. Teachers and Students were asked to choose a brief scene from a book they had read, write a script, and submit a video recording of their performance. The fourth graders chose the book The Buffalo Soldier by Sherry Garland. They used props including costumes designed by Ms. Seminetha Mack and Mr. Earl Culbert, who serves in a Buffalo Soldiers reenactment troup. Enjoy the video presentation below.
