Hello and welcome. As far back as I can remember, the visual arts have been an important means of expression in my life. My formal education concluded with a degree in Fine Art from Humboldt State University in Northern California with an emphasis on drawing and printmaking. After graduating, I worked in a community art gallery where I met many wonderful creative people. I later worked as a letterpress printer in a small shop where I was able to design many of the jobs that I printed. I began my career as a freelance illustrator in Seattle in 1981, when I made the rounds with a portfolio of newly created airbrush art. In 1997 I began working with digital media and have never looked back. I am very much at home in front of my Macintosh computer and am amazed with the advances in digital imagery. I’ve been very fortunate to have worked with many talented design professionals in the Pacific Northwest as well as many large northwest and national corporations.

In 2006 I returned to the town of Eureka on California’s beautiful north coast where I am originally from. I still love drawing, but most all of my work is now done on a computer with Illustrator, Photoshop and Painter applications. My studio setup is centered around an Apple iMac computer with a second display and a graphics tablet. I am now producing archival fine art prints with an Epson eight-color professional pigment printer. I also enjoy woodworking, boating and gardening when I have the time.

I hope you enjoy looking at my work. Please contact me if I can help with any of your graphic projects or if you have questions or comments about my work. Thank you for visiting.
