These are samples of work that I did as an airbrush illustrator, beginning in the early eighties. The technique involves spraying ink or paint onto illustration board using various types of stencils. It's a very tedious process and was about the only way to achieve perfect color gradations until computers came along. I no longer do airbrushing and my illustration work is now produced on a computer and delivered as digital files.
