Effie Culbreth's 91st Birthday

Magnolia Baptist Church - Stedman, North Carolina

 

It was a beautiful surprise birthday party for Effie, arranged by her family and friends. Over 100 people arrived, many from out of town as far away as Idaho.

My wife Marilee is Effie's niece. We drove over from River Bend, NC. Our last visit to Stedman was back in the late '70s for a family reunion, however, we saw Effie and her family often when she visited her sister Nancy in Wilmington

 I took about 70 digital photos, all of which I will put on a CD and send to Virginia Faircloth, Effie's daughter. The following are just a few of the photos. It was a very nice birthday party. Lots of nice folks.
