| My Kids - I love spending time with my kids, even if we're
just kicking back watching TV. |
| Music - I love playing music (guitar mainly),
especially if the music is witnessing for God. Most of my playing
these days are at my Church "The
Journey". I also play in a band called "Altered Cross", we
actually have an album. The album is all cover
songs, but hey, it's our first album!. Most of my music gear
(instruments, studio equipment, etc...) were purchase from the
following places:

| Travel - I really like to travel, but I rarely have the
money or time to do so. |
| Bicycle Riding - A great means of exercise. I
have a mountain bike and a road bike. I ride the mountain bike a lot
at Old Post Trails and some at Mt. Nebo Bench Trail. The road bike is
ridden on anything with asphalt. Between the two bikes I usually log
about 20 to 30 miles a week but occasionally I'll ride a 50 mile trip
on the road bike. I'm looking forward to riding the Big Dam Bridge 100

| Motorcycle Riding - Not just a passion but my daily
transportation (weather permitting). An 03' Yamaha V-Star 1100 and a 09' KLX250s. The
V-Star is for highway trips and the KLX is for dual sport/trail rides,
although I do ride it on some highway trips (it is street legal after
all). |
| Software Development - One of my favorite
pastimes is writing code. Over the years I've used several different
languages, but I'm currently using Visual Basic. My latest code
project was a Serial Communications application used for testing
serial devices.

| Hardware Development -
Another favorite pastime, designing and developing circuitry. I've
built several pieces of circuitry over the years. My latest hardware
project was security system I designed for my shop. It works really
well. |
| Reading - I spend a
significant amount of time each day reading, work related or not. My
reading outside of work consist of several different subjects:
electronics, automotive, ATV's, etc... I dedicate a few hours at least each
week reading the Bible and other books to better my knowledge of Christ
and discipleship. |
| GPS - My latest hobby is
mapping the areas that I ride. I've been working on mapping all the
trails around Treat, AR. (view my map
here). Even
though I don't do much GEO caching, I do visit
Groundspeak
to get advice on how to get more out of my GPS. I started out with a
Magellan 500 GPS but I now have a Garmin Rino 530 HCx. |
