FOOTNOTES

(1) If you haven’t eaten at O’Kays (formerly the Blues BBQ Restaurant), you need to arrive early before the show for a GREAT DINNER as well as a wide selection of draft and bottled beer.  As you might expect with a restaurant with both BBQ and Blues in the name, you will be served exceptional BBQ for dinner and exceptional blues from BLUE MILLION.  A great venue, great food, and great music.

(2) As the date approaches, check out the local Boone County paper, Coal Valley News, for more about the upcoming 19th Hole show and Blue Million.

(3) Taylor Books is my favorite venue for listening to live music (PERIOD)  If you like loud, smoky bars that smell like stall beer, Taylor Books is not for you.  At Taylor Books, expect good coffee, tea, and lattes, and if you are inclined to drink, try a glass of wine, no beer thank you.  The music is played at low volume and you can listen to great live music while browsing through the book selves, or sit down in a comfy chair reading your favorite magazine, or just “stroll” in with your family after a dinner at a local restaurant.

4) I have never been to Lola’s but I have heard good things from those who have - and Lola's gets great reviews in the press, check out this link.  (Click Here)

5) The performance is in the Clay Center’s Walker Theater.  Alan and Blue Million are opening for Bob Malone and Little Toby Walker.  This show is part of the Woody Hawley Concert Series.
