Chisenbop was developed in Korea and is often referred to as Fingermath in the United States. Often used with visually impaired students, chisenbop allows you to use your fingers as an abacus. Because students have a literal hands-on calculator with them at all times, I think this approach has powerful implications for students with LD. Click here to learn how to make chisenbop gloves. |
