Comments: JOHN ADAM STUTLER (may also have been known as Johann Adam Stadtler) was born about 1712, in Germany.  He entered USA through the port of Philadelphia in 1730.  His wife was MARY NEWBERGER, also from Germany. They settled on the South branch of the Potomac River in Virginia and had known seven children.

  WILLIAM STUTLER
  thru 7  four daughters of whom nothing is known, but are believed to be older than the boys.

The Stutler family bible states that John Adam Stutler married Mae Neburgh. They came to America in 1730 from Germany. He was the son of William Stutler of England. The Stutler's are traced back to the 1500's in Halstead, Essex, England. John Adam Stutler did not have his name changed when he entered America.
