Classmates

Spent the first several years after graduation trying to decide what to do with my life. This
included a 6 month military career followed by a brief time at OSU. OSU and I parted ways with
less than stellar grades. Decided it was better to serve in the Army than go home and face my
father so I joined the Army and spent the next 3 years in Germany (62-65). After the Army I
went to work for Western Electric in Oklahoma City. I met my wife (Janette) in 1966 and we were
married the same year. With my feet back on solid ground (she had a lot to do with that!!) I
attended Central State University. After graduation, I then went on to graduate school at OU
studying Environmental Science. After Graduate school I accepted a position as a Biologist with
the Corp of Engineers in Tulsa and we moved there in 1972.

In 1974, I went to work as a Biologist with the US Environmental Protection Agency in Dallas,
TX. We then moved our family to Plano where I worked for 16 years commuting to downtown
Dallas. During that time, Janette was a Real Estate Agent with ReMax. In 1990, I accepted a
position, still with EPA, in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Moved the family there and worked with
EPA until I retired as Administrative Services Division Director in January 2002. We moved to
Austin Texas shortly after my retirement.

Janette and I currently live in beautiful Sun City Texas. We have three wonderful sons and two
grand children. Adam, our oldest son lives in San Antonio and is Principal of an elementary
school. Bryan, lives in Burlingame, California and works for Bitgravity. Jason, is President of
Crest Capital Ventures and lives in Houston, Texas.

We are very active in tennis, golf, kayaking, bike ridding, pickle ball, country & western dancing
and traveling with our friends. We are very active, feel very blessed and enjoying life to the
fullest.
