I retired in 2000 and love doing about anything I want to do. I highly
recommend retirement, which I am sure many of my classmates would agree.

After high school, I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a
B.S. in Business Administration and later attended the University of Oklahoma
where I completed course work for a graduate degree in accounting. Most of my
32- year career was spent in higher education administration. I spent 20 years
working at the University of Oklahoma as an auditor and subsequently Vice
President for Administration and Finance. In 1988, I joined the staff at the
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education where I retired in 2000 as
Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Operation Officer for all colleges and
universities in Oklahoma.

In 1963, I married Jan Martin, a '62 Cushing graduate. This July we will have
been married 47 years. We have two children, Mike and Jill, nine grandchildren
and one great grand child. We currently live east of Oklahoma City on a 12-acre
horse farm backing up to the Wes Watkins Reservoir, a very nice lake. We no
longer raise horses, but have a miniature donkey and two dogs. We spend a
considerable amount of time maintaining the place; but in my spare time I enjoy
playing golf with my classmate Darrell Raney. In addition, I enjoy reading,
traveling and spending time with my family. I also spend part of my time as a
board member of the Oklahoma Higher Education Heritage Society.

Our first grandchild, Josh age 23, is in the U.S. Army and is currently serving our
country in Afghanistan. He is in the 101st Field Artillery Division as a gunner on
a Humvee. He has a very dangerous job in a very dangerous place. We covet
your prayers for his safety and protection.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion and hope we have a big turnout.
Thanks to all those who have done a great job putting it together.
