Richard & Gladys Creek
After graduation from CHS in 1960, I was off to my active duty with the
US Army along with other CHS graduates. Upon returning from the six
months active duty, I enrolled at OSU. Gladys Mills and I were married
on January 19, 1963. We celebrated our forty-fifth anniversary this year
with a trip to Hawaii.

After graduation, I was employed at Public Service Company of
Oklahoma, in Tulsa Oklahoma, doing engineering design on high voltage
transmission lines, substations, and generation facilities. I was
employed there for 10 years. I accepted an offer with a consulting
engineering firm in Oklahoma City, C. H. Guernsey and Company "CHG"
doing high voltage engineering consulting work with various utilities
thru out the United States and a few other countries. I retired as Vice
President of Power Engineering from CHG in July of 2007, after 35 years
of service.

Gladys and I have two children, Cyndi and Patrick. Both are married and
live in Highland Village, TX about a mile apart. We have six grand
children from the ages of three to thirteen.

Gladys and I have purchased a lake cabin on Texhoma near Kingston, OK
and the Texhoma State Lodge. We enjoy going there for a get-a-way and
meeting the kids and grandchildren which are only an hour and half
away. We are very active in church, square dance, and travel.
