The Bill Collector is a charter out of Morehead City.  Many FHFC members have had successful trips with Cap't Draughon.

    


March 4: Cap't Terrell Gould of the Carolina Princess
 


The Carolina Princess fishes out of Morehead City.

   

 


April 1:Cap't Jerry Dilsaver" Cobia & Mirrolures


 "While Capt. Dilsaver's tournament success is impressive, it is his dedication to the sport of fishing and helping beginning anglers develop successful skills and techniques that really set him apart from the crowd. He spends approximately 70 days each year conducting seminars, manning booths at fishing and outdoor shows, giving in-store product demonstrations, and otherwise promoting saltwater fishing. "

SPOUSE APPRICIATION NIGHT

 

We are sponsoring a spouse appreciation night to show our appreciation for putting

up with the frequent fishing trips by our members!

 

The members will be responsible for serving a delicious dinner to their spouse.

 

WHEN:  MONDAY APRIL 6, 2009

 

TIME:  6PM FOR APPETIZERS, 7PM FOR DINNER

 

WHERE:  BB HURRICANES

 

MENU SELECTION

 

TWIN LOBSTER TAILS:  $36.00 PER PERSON

 

PRIME RIB:  10 oz - $20.95 PER PERSON

 

PRIME RIB:  14 oz - $24.95 PER PERSON

 

SURF & TURF:  $34.50 PER PERSON

(10 oz PRIME & 5 oz LOBSTER TAIL)

 

GROUPER:  25.95 PER PERSON

 

Price includes:  appetizers, green beans, red skin potatoes (served family

style), ice tea, coffee, soda, carrot cake, entertainment & gratuity.

Bottle of house Pinot Grigio or Cabernet Sauvignon:  $12.00

 

Beer:  16 oz glass $2.50

 

Wine by the glass:  6 oz  $3.50

 

Other alcoholic drinks will be at the regular price.

 

This event is limited to 55 couples because of space limitations.

Saturday, June 6: Take-A-Kid-Fishing Day

 

The Planning Committee for the 2009 Take-A-Kid-Fishing Day has begun planning for the third annual event. The date was established as Saturday, June 6 (with Sunday, June 7 the rain date). Committee Chair Jim Cline is looking for additional volunteers for the various committees. If you would like to help plan the event, work on a committee,  take a kid fishing on your boat, or participate in any way,  please contact Jim at jimcline@embarqmail.com.
