The Fortney Hacienda



Someone once said, "You don't own a house. It owns you!" Very wise words. If you've visited this page before, you've seen the hardwork Julie, the kids, and I have put into improving the house.








The kitchen as it looked when we first bought the house.


With Gary's and Joyce's help, here's our renovated kitchen!





We added a covered porch. The boys
and I later added wooden decking.


We took out the patio door
and installed a regular door.





The house shortly after we bought
it and had made a few changes.


We tried cedar siding on the front for a couple of years .






We "blew" insulation in the
attic and walls around Gary's
room (what used to be the garage).


We put a window in the living
room where the fireplace and
chimney used to be.








We added ductwork for Gary's room.
