Bethany Christian Church of Jasper

1890 - 11 members left Stony Branch church and built our first church building on an acre of land given by E. F. and Lula May. The name Bethany was chose for the New Testament name of the village where Jesus often lodged.

1939 - We purchased and moved to present site and Episcopel church building that was located across the road for $500.00. This building is now known as our "old sanctuary"

1961 - Our education building was built

2002 - We had our first worship service in our new sanctuary.
