THE GOSPEL TRUTH

The bible says that our life is just like a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow, or like a flower in a field which today looks so beautiful in the grass, but tomorrow it is gone, faded away. You see, life goes by so quickly. It seems we are here today and then tomorrow we’re gone. So if that’s the case, how should we be living our life while we are here on this earth? Should we fallow after the majority and just live life to “eat, drink, and be marry,” with no regard to what’s going to happen tomorrow? Or should we be more concerned with how we live our life, being fully aware that there is a God who made us and has a standard that we are to live by. For the bible says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27).” So wouldn't it make more sense to know what the will of God is for us, seeing that eternity (wether in Heaven or in Hell) is a lot longer than this temporary existence on this earth?

How Then should we live

“Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have practiced evil to the resurrection of condemnation.”(John 5:28-29) So in that passage above, Jesus told us that “those who have done good” will have eternal life and “those who have done evil, will come under God’s judgment. But if we read Isaiah 64:6, it says that even our best works are like “filthy rags” before God, and again in Ezekiel 18:20 God said “the person who sins will die.” So how do we do good? Because the truth is, it seems no matter how hard we try to do good, we still to fall short of the requirements God has for us. “Oh wrenched man that I am, who is there to deliver me form this body of death?” So it seems that the good we must do is beyond our natural abilities, which then means it must come from a source that’s beyond ourselves (Romans 7:24-25).

The Bible

Well, I have discovered some good news. There is a better way for us to get right with God beside just trying to live a good life on our own strength. It’s that mystery that’s hidden away in one book, and that book is the Bible. And by opening it up and reading it’s passages we discover a way to become right with our Great Creator God besides just trying to live a good life by our own strength. Because lets face it, on our own, we will never enter into heaven. So I invite you to click on the link at the top which says “In Love” and discover what I have found. It can literally change your life, forever.

So please just click on the link “In Love” at the top.

Come now, those saying, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city and spend a year there, and we will trade and will make a profit, who do not know of the morrow. For what is your life? For it is a vapor, which appears for a little time, and then disappears. Instead of you saying, If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that. (James 4:13-15)
