Even Lazarus |
At each successive instant of time, each individual is the end result of every preceding reciprocally emergent moment of conditionally relative experience. Thus each individual is entirely and solely responsible for his or her own experiential outworking; for his or her own accumulation or dissipation of karmic attachments. And any succor, relief, or benefit accepted from compassionate others heightens the accountability of the receiver. Indeed, by arising from his deathbed, even Lazarus acquired an increased responsibility for all subsequent actions or nonactions. |
