Fruits

Many ripe
and unripe fruits
fall
near traditional
sources
and some are strewn
at a distance.
Some fruits fall
in sterile regions.
Some fall into
noxious weeds.
Some fruits fall
on fertile ground
and viable seed
sown far afield,
caressed
by sun and rain,
boldly produces
hardy new growth
in unknown skies,
and new seed
forms in new fruit.
In due season,
many ripe
and unripe fruits
fall
near the vanguard
and some are strewn
at a distance.
Some fruits fall
on fertile ground
where viable seed
caressed
by sun and rain
boldly produces
hardy new growth
in unconventional
skies,
and new seed
forms in new fruit.
