Frustrated by the politics of serving both king and country after his appointment to the royal court, already burdened by the responsibility of his priestly vows, Son (Zen) Master T'aego Po-u, 14th century CE National Teacher of Koryo Korea, chastised himself as being stupid and unworthy for raising his head above the weeds of anonymity. One may be stupid for trying to excel at a thankless task, for leaving tracks on the ancient path, for persistently pointing directly to holonomic emergence within the egoless primordial energy of unconditioned Pure Consciousness, uncreated absolute Pure Being; nevertheless, overt activity will of itself demonstrate real or counterfeit worth. |
