Custom Hot Head Sleeve for Nitro Motors
Hot Head is machined from Mild Steel 2.5 inch OD and bored to size on ID with about .015 clearance, also milled out for exhaust port and around carb body. Hot Head will amplify heat to where its needed down thru the piston casing. Just need your Outside Diameter of your cooling head. Cooling head dia. on most motors have been between 2.250 and 2.380. A lot of times at the track I was running back to back races or having to turn marshal before my next race, so I just wanted something to quickly get some Pre Race heat in Cylinder Head and Piston housing. Raced at the Ohio RC Factory this past weekend and received very positive feedback on the Hot Head. Works great on NEW Motor start ups to help with that extra pinch in piston. I am firm believer that applying heat to nitro motors before starting will help prevent wear and prolong the life of motor.
