Newsletter - June 2000
Sunday, June 11, 2000 Dr. Schulmans sermon for our June service will be "Sentimentalism." Dr. Schulman says that "Sentimentalism is a grammatical term meaning excessive use of emotion. It is sort of a petty crime, using more emotion than the situation requires. But sentimentalism still is better than that cynicism that denies the great meaning of love and affection. Sometimes we are afraid of sentiment and that is a mistake."
