Huntsville UU Services

Sunday, July 14, 10:30 AM, Laura Chapel at HMH:

Dr. Frank Schulman's sermon will be "The Race is not Always to the Swift,
But That's the Way to Bet."
Dr. Schulman says, "The sad author of Ecclesiastes questioned whether there is justice in the universe. He said Fate is
impartial and does not favor those who are wise, virtuous, and courageous. But most of the time we
do get what we deserve, though we may not recognize it. The title, by the way, comes from Damon Runyan.
Let's talk about justice and the nature of the good and see what sense we can make of it."

Ancient Reading: Ecclesiastes 9:11-18

Modern Reading: from The Duties of Man and Other Essays by Giuseppe Mazzini

Please note that during the summer months we meet only on the
	second Sunday of each month.
We welcome new member Melissa Mehaffey to the Huntsville
UU Fellowship! If you would like to become a member of the Huntsville Unitarian Universalist
