Sunday, January 12, 10:30 AM, Laura Chapel at HMH:

Dr. Frank Schulman is preaching. His sermon title is "Three Qualities of a
Successful Life." In his notes about the sermon, Dr. Schulman says:
"Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage, and all the men and women	merely players.' So how shall we act out our
parts? How do we make the most of our roles? We go through stages of life and goals differ in each	one. But overall, what
qualities go into a successful life? The sermon will suggest three main ones."

Letter informs us of work in Bulgaria

Rel Davis and Edith Sloan are retired UUs serving with the Peace Corps in Bulgaria. Rel is a native of Texas. He was
minister of the U.U. Fellowship in Hollywood, FL, for 22 years and served as Chaplain at SWIM -- Southeast Winter Institute,
Miami -- for more than a decade. He wrote to our fellowship to inform us about work he is doing in Bulgaria. Originally small
huts or shelters high in the mountains, today a system of these huts (called"hizhas") extends over the many mountains of
the tiny Balkan nation of Bulgaria. One Peace Corps project now underway would equip one of these "mountain lodges" for
youth nature camps. For photos and more information, check out the website:

	 http://www11.brinkster.com/reldavis/hizha/hizha.htm.

Another project would fund a women's weaving and sewing cooperative. More
	information is at
	http://reldavis.freeservers.com/women.

Tax-exempt contributions to either of these (or to any of a number of Peace Corps
projects around the world) can be made on the web at
