Sunday, April 13, 10:30 AM, Laura Chapel at HMH:

Dr. Frank Schulman will preach. In his notes about the sermon topic,
"Why Believe in Immortality?" Dr. Schulman says,
"There are lots of reasons to believe in immortality: as a matter of
faith, the testimony of wise people, or as the Bible teaches.
But what kind of immortality? Some believe in a literal, physical life
after death; others that we are immortal through our works, our children,
and our influence. the question is, do we continue to exist in some
meaningful way? Or is it all over when our present life is finished? What
	do you think?"

Dr. Schulman's sermon topic is "Reasons for Believing in God." Dr. Schulman says, "Belief in God is nearly
universal and it is hallowed by the ages. Yet
there is so great a variety of belief that we get confused. Surely they
can't all be pointing to the same concept. Can we believe in God? Let's
look at some reasons and see whether they describe anything worthwhile."

Ancient Reading: Genesis 28: 1-15
