Huntsville UU Services
Sun. March 14: Dr. Frank Schulman's sermon title is "Atheism's challenge."
Atheism has a bad press and atheists are on the defensive. Social pressures against them are great. Everyone wants to be liked.
And, let's face it, a lot of atheists are argumentative and they upset us. Yet there are good things to be said about atheism and a
lot we can learn from them.
Thanks to Gail and Ralph Phillips for providing the refreshments on Feb. 8.
Sun. March 28: Our guest speakers will be Albert and Ruth Munn. Their topic
will be "A Visit to Palestine" with emphasis on a comparison of what the travelers found in a recent trip to conditions there 25
years ago.
The Munns are members of the Live Oak Friends Meeting in Houston. True to their Quaker beliefs, they are
peace activists who believe that Americans need to know the truth and to take responsibility for their own role in the affairs of this
unhappy land. May was born and raised there, and this is a unique opportunity to learn about life in the occupied West Bank.
