Sun. June 13: Dr. Schulman's sermon will be "Undogmatic Theism." A Unitarian minister
in England defined Unitarianism simply. He said it is undogmatic theism. That about sums it up. Creeds put shackles on the
mind, and on God. We believe the mind should be free to explore and dream. Let's look at the implications of that simple
phrase, "undogmatic theism." Thanks to Pam Maine for providing the cookies for the coffee after the service.
Annual Picnic
Sat. June 12: The UU Annual Picnic will be at the home of Pam Maine, 231 Elmwood Street. Plan to
arrive about 5:30 and bring food to share.
Huntsville UU Women
Wed. June 2: The UU Women's Sharing Circle will continue the study of the UU Curriculum Cakes for
the Queen of Heaven. Gail Phillips will lead the discussion on "The Role of Women in Early Christianity and the Gnostics."
The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the home of Alice Schulman.
Wed. June 9: The UU Women will join the Red Hat Society for a style show at the Koret
outlet store at the Conroe Outlet Center at 9:00 a.m. and for lunch afterward in the mall coffee shop.
Book Club
June 6: The UU Book Club will meet at the home of Glenn and Kathy Payne, 3829 Summer Ln in the
Spring Lake subdivision, to view the film Life of Brian. According to Monty Python producer John Goldstone,
the re-release of this film offers an alternative view to Mel Gibson's The Passion of Christ.
