Sun. April 24: Our speaker will be Don Post and the title of his
presentation will be "The Gift of Life: What's It All About, Alfie?" Don E. Post, Ph.D., a former Professor of Sociology/
Anthropology and Dean of the Social and Behavioral Sciences at St. Edward's University, Austin, Texas, is also a
Methodist minister. As a writer and lecturer, he has over 30 years experience working in Asia, Latin America, the former
Soviet Union and many parts of the Mid-East. He speaks Spanish and Japanese.
"The tragedy of war is so many murdered Mozarts." This quote brings to mind the
enduring questions of what is worth dying for and what is worth living for. One of the ironies of life is that people frequently
do not consider its value until they are diagnosed with a terminal illness, and then at last they begin to cherish their existence.
In this presentation, Dr. Don Post will share his thoughts on the meaning of life.
Sun. May 8: Dr. Frank Schulman plans to return to the pulpit
on May 8. His sermon topic will be "Religious Agnosticism."
