"One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it cannot be taken away unless it is surrendered."

Huntsville UU Services
Sun. May 13: Our speakers will be Brother A. Muhammad-Bey and two others from the local Islamic group. They plan to speak on "Interfaith Dialogue" and care and compassion from the Qur'an. One of our guest speakers recently spoke at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Tyler, Texas.
Sun. May 27: Our minister, the Reverend Tom Capo, will speak on "A Feminist Spirituality".
He comments, "I will be looking at theology and spirituality from a feminist perspective. When I say this, I mean from a feminine understanding of faith and belief. Most theology written before the 20th century was written by men, thus a very masculine point of view. Only in the 20th and 21st centuries do we have women theological writers with a new, fresh perspective on their answers to life's ultimate questions.”
