For flowers that bloom about our feet;
For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet;
For song of bird, and hum of bee;
For all things fair we hear or see,
Father in heaven, we thank Thee!
--Ralph Waldo Emerson

Capo writes, "After I went to Bali, Indonesia, and was exposed to a culture that described their indigenous religion with Hindu's religious terms, I wondered about the many varieties of practice within the Hindu religion. I also wondered what is common among all Hindu practice".

Welcome to Our New Members
We welcome our newest members, Roy and Carol Turner.
We are delighted that they have decided to join our fellowship.
Building Committee
The Building Committee will be meeting at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 2, at the Siglers' home.
Fall Picnic and Business Meeting
The fall picnic was a complete success and we thank Anne and Kelley Sigler for the use of their beautiful home. Several motions were passed during the subsequent business meeting. The proposed mission statement was accepted. It was also decided to start a religious education program for the youth of the church and to have a children's sermon preached at each service. At this point we are looking into finding a place to hold the RE program as well as developing the curriculum. Finally, it was agreed to release up to $3000.00 from the general fund for the building committee to use to conduct a study of the needs of the congregation and to develop plans for a church building.
Update on Dean Hubbard
Dean Hubbard is doing well and is now at Ella Smither in Huntsville in room 105. He began occupational therapy last week. He will be there for the next couple of weeks and it is hoped that he can return home soon. He enjoys visitors and is allowed to leave for short outings.
