HRRA (Humboldt Redwoods Youth Running Club) is a running club designed for K-8 runners in Humboldt County. This year, 2015-2016, HRRA will organize a cross country schedule, help local teachers and schools develop a schoolwide running program, and develop races through the local running club, the Six Rivers Running Club for youth runners.
This spring, HRRA will help develop track meets for 5-8 graders and hope to host one K-4 meet. We will begin the track season with a workshop for teachers and parents to help them organize a school track program. The workshop will be held at the College of the Redwoods on March 14th from 9 AM to noon. Call Jack West at 677-3655 or email Jack West.
