To "MY VALENTINE" Doris

Happy Valentines Day

             This page is dedicated to the love of my life. I have
         known Doris all my life. We grew up together in the same
         neighborhood, went to the same schools, played with the
         same neighborhood kids.
             We started dating each other in junior high school and
         continued doing so through high school.
             We were married in 1966 and blessed with 2 sons. We are
        just like any other couple, we have had our ups and downs
        (more ups than downs). Our boys grew up and blessed us with
        4 grandchildren (2 boys and 2 girls).
             I look back through life and thank God for such a beautiful
        person. Her heart is as soft and pure as any heart on earth. Her
        love is rich and deep. Her personality is one that words cannot
        describe, as she never has a harsh thought or word to say about
        anyone or anything.
             Doris, I LOVE YOU! And may God bless me with your life for
        another 50 years or so. The mold was broke after you were brought
        into this world, and I am glad I am the one that has the honors
        of being your life-long partner.

Love Comes Through the Eyes That See

Love comes through the eyes that see
And through the ears that hear,
For people are quite beautiful,
And words make feelings clear.

Love comes through the hands that touch
With unabashed affection,
For only skin-to-skin can love
Maintain its true direction.

Love comes through the tastes and smells
Of fresh and well-cooked food,

I've been thinking about my valentine,

And I thank the Lord that you are mine.

Two people joined together, two hearts joined as one,

Remember, we are companions in each other, we must have faith and trust,
Respect and honor each other, never let our union be unjust.
Love your mate more than yourself; let it be known every day,
Confide in each other; never push your partner away.

Always be kind and caring, so our marriage won't lose its thrill.

MY ANGEL, MY WIFE

The quickest glance of my beautiful wife,

And I understand why she's the love of my life.

Her radiant smile; that lights up a room,

Her soft glow would brighten the darkest of gloom.

Even in a crowd she stands out from all,

Her soft hair shinning is a beckoning call.
