I am from Bayou Gauche, Louisiana, and graduated from Hahnville High School in 2001. After high school I enrolled at the University of New Orleans but shortly after enrollment decided to enter the work force. After a short stint working at ExxonMobil I decided to go to college. During the fourth semester at Baton Rouge Community College I discovered Economics and transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University. In the Spring of 2006 I graduated with a B.A. in General Business with a concentration in Economics. During my last semester at SELU I began the application process for a graduate degree in Economics. I was accepted with funding and enrolled at the University of Missouri in the Fall of 2006. I was a teaching assistant at MU and in the Fall of 2007 earned an M.A. in Economics. I returned home and was employed as an adjunct instructor during the Spring and Summer 2008 semesters by the Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at Southeastern Louisiana University while awaiting acceptance into a Ph.D. program. I was accepted and enrolled into the Economics PhD Program at OSU in the Fall of 2008. I am currently an economics doctoral student and teaching associate for the Department of Economics and Legal Studies in Business in the William S. Spears School of Business at the Oklahoma State University. The courses I have taught are Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, and Money and Banking.
