A Team Like Me and You

"THANKS" is about all I can give as pay, for the help you provided today,
As I attempted to install the fax machine, and ignorance got in the way.
It should have been a simple task, but you know how some things go,
When inputs screw up an old man's mind, and confusion begins to show.

I was at ropes end when you gave the call, that helped save the day
And was about ready to "turn it all in" and look for another way
To communicate with others on the Internet, to let them know what I thought
About the dumb fax machine, and what a pile of junk I had bought

Fortunately your call came at the right time, as your assistance usually does,
And turned on the light of knowledge, and revealed how dumb I was
To think that installing a fax machine was a difficult task to do,
And proved that all things can run smoothly, with a team like me and you.
