We had a family reunion, and it was a grand event,
For it was a "get together", that the good Lord had sent
So that we could share our lives together, at least for a little while,
And tell family stories, that left us with a smile.
To be with and know the little ones, who will be here to carry on
The joy of a family reunion, where love and caring is shown.
