What A Thanksgiving Day
From Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World"
Lyrics by James Ebb Huggins, Jr.

I see Grandchildren around the table, so cheerful, strong, and free.
I am so thankful, God gave them to me.
And I say to my self, what a Thanksgiving Day.

I see family gathered all around, with lots of excitement to share.
I am so blessed, that they really care,
And I say to myself, what a Thanksgiving Day.

The joy of the season, brings a tear to my eye,
For I've been so richly blessed, by my Father in the sky.
He provides all that is needed, to get life's challenges done,
And even gave his only Son, to see that the race is won.

There is lots of caring showing, and lots of happiness too see,
And there is plenty of love around, for you and for me.
And I say to myself what a Thanksgiving Day.
Yes, I say to myself, what a Thanksgiving Day.
