Dear Family and Friends,

We have had lots of exciting things happen in our family since the last letter posted on this site.

Please enjoy the photos and we appreciate any comments or thoughts.

 

An update on the girls:

Jen and Chris have moved again and have purchased a quaint home in Richardson. Jen is attending school and

working full-time. She hopes to graduate in about a year and a half. Chris enjoys working at the American

Airlines Center and he is also attending school to pursue his Masters Degree.

 

Amanda and Scott are still in Atlanta. She has accepted a position at St. Joseph's in Atlanta. Scott continues to fly for

Air Tran. We have enjoyed our many visits with them this year.

 

Victoria is doing very well in Sarasota Florida. She loves the beach, so it is a perfect place for her to live. She loves

her job at a high end restaurant and she is planning on going back to school in the fall. It is so hard to believe that she is

almost 26 years old now. Joe is doing well with his job at Merrill Lynch. We hope they make a trip to Texas in 2009.

 

Mary K. is still working her tail off at Joe's in Longview. She works six days a week and very long hours. She keeps our

movie selections current with her DVD's. She has a new dog, "Chico" which is a miniature long haired dachshund.

He is ADORABLE!

 

Jac is living in Plano in her first "solo" apartment. She is also attending school full-time as well as working at Houston's

full-time as a server. She is doing very well and she seems to like Houston's as much as Amanda enjoyed her tenure with

them.

 

We continue to work on this old house. Check out the porch remodel link. It has been a long process, but Terry has done

an outstanding job. The porch will be here long after we are gone.

I continue to cater as well as work full-time.

I have hosted numerous parties this year for friends and their celebrations and have LOVED every minute of it.

We plan to drive to Atlanta in a few weeks. I am planning a spa day for the Ya Ya's....we turn FIFTY this year.

I am EXCTIED about this time in my life. My birthday party next month will be an all girl party!!
