Spring Flowers Field Trips (April - May)

Hear an informative talk about farming (including the plant life cycles, benefits of nature to society, irrigation, and other interesting things found on the farm).

Enjoy a scenic hayride.

Eat lunch in one of our picnic areas, including our new covered pavilion with play area.

Navigate your way through our hay maze and have a blast on our hay jump.

Each child will take home:

October - a coloring book and a pumpkin

Christmas - a coloring book, a candy cane and a decorated pine cone ornament

Spring - We will build a plant with a pencil and other craft supplies and children will plant flower seeds to take home

At Christmas time, each class (with a minimum payment of $100) can choose-n-cut their own Christmas Tree up to 6 feet in size.

Visit our Christmas Cottage which has country, religious, and western style decorations and gifts for the Fall and Christmas Season.

Each field trip could last about 2 hours and kids can visit the Barn Store where almost everything is $2.

Cost is $5 per student (no charge for teachers), $2 for parents, $5 for siblings (3-12 yrs.).

We require a 10% (or minimum of $50) deposit of the field trip cost within 2 weeks of receiving your confirmation letter. This is refundable only if Elgin Christmas Tree Farm cancels due to weather. If I have not received your deposit within 21 days of your confirmation letter you will forfeit your field trip time.

We will offer this hayride fun from September through Thanksgiving and in the spring by RESERVATION ONLY. Call 512-281-5016 to reserve a time for your group or family activity.
