Speed!Order System by JRF
Speed!Order System (SOS), also known as Favorites Order System, is a web-based order entry system which allows customers and administrators to place orders by stock #, maintains your inventory database as product is depleted and emails an order confirmation to your customer. Customers are pre-assigned a unique number which is used for all logins. All customer data is securely maintained by the system administrator.
- SOS is designed for support of mainframe and PC databases as the primary data source, through either real-time access or recurring batch import of data to the local data store.
- SOS supports multi-keyed inventory data structures.
- Two entry modes are available in the basic module, line by line with item confirmation or batch entry of 25, 50 or 100 items per screen. SOS creates an order file which you may process at any level of complexity. For large operations, SOS can write the order records to a mainframe in real time. Small operations may batch process the order file.
- With appropriate data tables, customers can lookup their order status and can generate email status reports.
- Customers can search inventory by stock # or description and create inventory reports for various product categories.
- A customer credit file can be accessed to display the customer's current credit.
- Usage codes can be assigned to customers and inventory items to restrict customer's access to inventory. Multiple pricing based on usage code is also supported.
- Suppliers and vendors login to their own reporting menu in order to retrieve current inventory and sales reports.
- Administrator access is controlled in two levels allowing daily operational functions to be accessed by assigned office personnel.
- Favorites module allows your customers to maintain their own list of favorite items and allows creation of an order from that list.
- Product Allocator allows allocation of a product which is in short supply to specific customers. Allocations can be approved by a third party, such as an administrator or other approval entity, i.e. a state agency. This prevents one customer from buying all the special product.
- Special Order module allows administrator, agency and warehouse control over special order requests placed by vendors and suppliers to remove product outside of ordinary order channels. No more hen-scratched faxes no one can read.
- SOS can be customized to meet your specific data processing requirements. Currently, SOS is in production in a "controlled state" liquor/wine warehouse operation handling all web-based order entry, real-time reporting and state controlled allocation and special order control.
