Jon Field - electric bass, guitar, mandolin and vocals
Jon, a native Austinite, started to play the bass more than 2 decades ago. However, within the last few years, he became serious
about it to found a new band--Texas Silver Moon. For most jazz tunes he plays the electric bass, but will switch to the acoustic
guitar when swing tunes are called for. Jon loves Bob Will's swing tunes and as Bob Wills' song goes:
"Time changes everything....." and indeed it did. You can also hear Jon's soulful voice when singing swing tunes.
Besides Jazz and Swing, Jon enjoys Bluegrass music. His enthusiasm inspired him to start
The Georgetown Bluegrass Jam on the Square
in November of 2002. Bluegrass musicians from the region look forward to the monthly jam on the square
as well as to the weekly indoor jams started for bluegrass musicians.
His patience and love to share his knowledge of music is appreciated by many.

Sigi Field - double bass
Sigi, a native of Germany, loves Texas and its people, sits in for swing tunes on the upright bass. The biggest challenge
for her is to
carry it around. Just watch her how she hoists her bass around. Besides accompanying Bart and Jon she also loves to play
Bluegrass. She quickly learned that Bluegrass is as heartwarming as any German Volksmusik would be.
Sigi's music background dates back to her German education where Music and The Arts are mandatory subjects,
thus she had to learn to read music, play an instrument and sing. Together with Jon she joins in on many area jams,
makes new friends and looks forward to meeting many more. Send her an
e-mail, she loves to hear from you.
Besides her love for music, Sigi's creativity is seen in many of her graphic design works, her photography and painting.
She studied fine arts and photography at the University of New Hampshire. Presently, she works as a freelancer
in designing publications, advertisements and photography. She assists Jon in their business
