BOTTOM PAINTING

 

-                                 Use Micron Extra w/ Biolux.  No build-up between coatings, able to haul and re-launch.

-                                 Biolux keeps boat slime free.

-                                 Application:

o       Lightly sand ablative and apply.  80 grit sandpaper.

o       Wipe off sanding with rag dampened with Special Thinner 216.

o       Apply 3 coats.

o       Roller application – 5/16 or 3/8 inch nap solvent resistant roller.

o       Put extra coat to leading and trailing edges, waterline, keel and rudder

o       2 gallons should do it.

SHAFT AND PROP PAINTING

 

-           Sand with 80 grit to remove all old paint.

-           Bring metal to shine with medium emory cloth.  Remove residue.

-           Apply 1 thin coat Viny-Lux Primewash 353/354.

-          Allow Primewash to dry minimum of 1 hour but no more than 24 and apply 4 coats Interprotect 2000E/2001E.  See dry times on label.

-           Apply 3 coats of Interlux Trilux 33.
