Eisenglas

Also make sure they use Strataglass (40 mil I believe) not the plain vinyl my factory dodger was made with. Mine has the same nice looking slope to the windshield but it is severely scratched from the winch handles. I'm having some work done on mine and the canvas guys comment was that you could "scratch that stuff just by walking by it". A more realistic comment out on a web site talking about Strataglass is that the plain vinyl (like mine) could be scratched with a paper towel.

Strataglass doesn't scratch or cloud as easily. I'll look through the scratches for another year though because that stuff is very expensive and I would be looking at around $400 just to replace those panels.

That's why my full enclosure bimini was $5,000, which was the Low Bid by the way. But on my first cruise last June on a drizzly day shortly after docking the sky really opened up and as I sat sipping a cold one in a totally dry cockpit watching everyone scurrying around in the pouring rain I thought of the last word of the charge card commercial flooding the airways all summer - Priceless.
